Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" was on the radio, Star Wars Ep. 4 was taking the world by storm in theatres, and you were at home with your brand new Atari Video Computer System (Atari VCS). Perhaps you'd emptied your pockets playing Atari's great arcade games, but now, you could bring the experience into your living room.
Banking on the success of Asteroids, AstroSmash (or AstroBlast) was an easy-to-play fixed shooter, and it was a perfect fit for the Atari Paddle Controller.
Our Atari Paddle Controller remix reveals the inner components in a deep frame that is the perfect size to stand on your desk, or hang on your wall (both options are built-in).
